The Gospel according to St. Mark
Chapter
5
¹ They came to the other side of the sea to the country of the Gerasenes. ² And when he had stepped out of the boat, immediately a man out of the tombs with an unclean spirit met him.
(The Gospel according to St. Mark Chapter 5 verses 1 to 2)
Oh God my Father if this unclean spirit did not hesitate to approach You as soon as you entered its territory I am not amazed about the persecution that I get from such spirits in the form of other humans Amen.
³ He lived among the tombs; and no one could restrain him any more, even with a chain; ⁴ for he had often been restrained with shackles and chains, but the chains he wrenched apart, and the shackles he broke in pieces; and no one had the strength to subdue him.

Oh God my Father when we lose control over ourselves or decide not to care about anyone or anything one becomes a dwelling place for the spirit of evil to dwell in. Therefore we are always to remain in communication with You my God and Father for You are my peace and comfort Amen.
